Half Moon Bay Boatbuilders has been operating since 1980.  Managing Director, Peter Millen, has built his business on quality craftsmanship,  reliability and reputation. 

The two large workshops at Half Moon Bay Marina can facilitate and store any vessel from a dinghy to a 60 foot launch or yacht.  The onsite Travelift lifts vessels up to 35 tonne.

Our tradesmen can cope with any boat building job - structural or cabinet work, timber or fibreglass, insurance work to major refits. We can refurbish teak decks or replace if necessary. We undertake installation of holding tanks and bowthrusters, keel rebeds, hull/duckboard extensions, bait tanks, hardtops and rot repairs.

Based on the hardstand  at Half Moon Bay Marina has the added benefit of offering a one-stop-shop service of all marine facilities including marine engineering, outboard/inboard motor servicing, spray painting, antifouling, electronic installation and electrical repairs, stainless steel fabrication, marine refrigeration, upholstery, rigging and sailmaking. Together with these service companies at Half Moon Bay Marina, we run an integrated system of looking after your boat in combination with one another.

We have a fully surveyed vessel available for salvage work and towing of boats.
